A cunning blend of Nebbiolo, Durif, Shiraz and Tannat, with a touch of Riesling. Each variety was harvested at their own special ‘Rosé’ maturity level and fermented separately to add their individual piece of the puzzle to this blend. Nebbiolo for structure and some floral tones, Durif for strawberry notes, Shiraz for a generous mid-palate, Tannat for structure and length, then Riesling for zing.
The individual components were blended after fermentation to a produce delicately structured, aromatic and intriguing Rose.
Rose petals, stone fruit, strawberries and cream. Crisp yet soft, fruity yet mineral, and fun yet (a little bit) serious.
The result is a unique Rosé that is easy to drink yet complex and potentially age-worthy, but who needs to age a Rosé – there will be another one next year!
